  • Therapy is for everyone.

Individual therapy is a space where you can focus entirely on yourself—your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

People come to therapy for lots of reasons—managing anxiety, depression, or mood swings; navigating trauma; recovering from addictions; healing from self-harm urges; improving relationships; or just finding a safe space to be heard and supported without judgement.

In therapy, you’ll get support, practical tools, and guidance while moving at your own pace.

    • Processing trauma or past experiences – Tell your story. Work through things that are still affecting you today.

    • Managing anxiety, depression, or mood shifts – Develop tools to handle life in a way that works for you and feel more balanced.

    • Stress or life transitions – Adjusting to big changes like a new job, move, or loss.

    • Relationship challenges – Understanding patterns, setting boundaries, or improving communication.

    • Self-exploration and growth – Figuring out who you are, what you want, and how to get there.

  • This really depends on what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. We’ll start by talking about what brought you in and what goals you have—whether it’s feeling more grounded, working through past trauma, improving relationships, coping with difficult emotions, or just having a space to breathe and be heard.

Most people begin with weekly or biweekly sessions to build consistency and trust, especially when working through trauma.

From there, we’ll check in regularly and adjust the pace as needed. Some people come for a few months, others stay longer depending on their goals and where they are in their healing journey. We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.

  • I specialize in working with adults experiencing traumatic stress, bipolar disorder, depression, and anxiety.

My approach is flexible and client-centered—you are the expert on your own life, and therapy is guided by your needs and goals. I meet you where you are and support you in finding a path that works for you, rather than giving advice or telling you what to do.

Together, we can explore how early experiences, such as attachment wounds or childhood trauma, may have shaped your patterns and the way you relate to others.

I also incorporate practical approaches to support your growth and coping: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps manage thoughts, emotions, and experiences, while Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) provides tools for improving your emotional regulation skills and improving relationships.

I am also trained in EMDR, a therapy that helps process traumatic experiences. To learn more about EMDR, please visit https://www.emdria.org/about-emdr-therapy.

  • It’s completely normal to feel a little nervous if this is your first time trying therapy!

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other, answer any questions you have, and see if we’re the right match to work together.

We’ll start by talking about your background and what’s been going on in your life—therapists often call this an “intake.” Basically, it helps me understand your challenges, symptoms, and what brought you to therapy.

Most importantly, we’ll focus on what you want to work on and what feels most important to you to start shaping a plan for your therapy journey.
